Governor Paterson Projects $14 Billion in Deficits for Current and Upcoming Fiscal Years

New York State Governor David Paterson released the Division of the Budget’s (DOB’s) mid-year financial report, which projects a $1.5 billion deficit for the remainder of this fiscal year, and a $12.5 billion deficit for SFY 2009-2010, which begins on April 1, 2009.[more]
