Mark
J. Kator is the President and Chief Executive Officer
of Isabella Geriatric Center, a not-for-profit organization
serving the elderly since 1875, and the Immediate Past Chair
of the Board of Directors of CCLC. Mr. Kator was for
three years Executive Vice President of Village Care
of New York, a not-for-profit provider of services in
lower Manhattan.
Mr.
Kator spent over twenty years in the public health care
system
in New York City and has had a long interest in developing
and improving systems of care for underserved and vulnerable
populations. Mr. Kator has served as Chair of the New
York Association of Homes and Services for the Aging
and has chaired the Commission of Ethics of the American
Association of Homes and Services for the Aging. He
is a board member of the Audubon Partnership, an economic
development corporation for Northern Manhattan and a
member of the Health Policy Forum of the United Hospital
Fund.
For
many years, Mr. Kator served as a member of the adjunct
faculty of the Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public
Service of New York University. He has a B.A. and M.A.
from Columbia University and an M.B.A. in health care
administration from Bernard Baruch College/Mount Sinai
School of Medicine. |
