A. Reingold, MSW, JD, is the President and Chief
Executive Officer of The Hebrew Home for the Aged at
Riverdale, in New York City, and Treasurer of the Board
of Directors of CCLC. The Hebrew Homes housing,
nursing and community services are used by 3,000 elderly
people in the Bronx, Manhattan and Westchester County.
The
Hebrew Home offers residential health services at its
Main Campus, the Fairfield Division, and the Baptist
Division. The Home also offers short-term rehabilitation,
respite care and in 2000, opened Riverdale Terrace,
New York Citys first non-profit assisted living
facility. RiverWalk, the Homes second senior housing
community, opened in 2003. Other services offered by
the Hebrew Home are The Forchheimer Jewish Palliative
Care Center and ElderServe, the community services division
of the Hebrew Home which enables older individuals to
remain at home for as long as possible by providing
a comprehensive array of programs and services including
home care, adult day and night care, outpatient health
services, and housekeeping services.
Mr.
Reingold received his bachelors degree from Hobart
College, his masters in social work from Columbia University
and his law degree from the Benjamin N. Cardozo Law
School of Yeshiva University. Prior to joining the Hebrew
Home in 1990, Mr. Reingold was an attorney in private
practice for 10 years. Mr. Reingold serves on the board
of directors of the New York Association of Homes and
Services for the Aged. He has received recognition and
awards from numerous communal, educational and religious
organizations for his and The Homes contributions
to the community. |
