Audrey
S. Weiner, DSW, MPH is the President and Chief Executive
Officer of The Jewish Home and Hospital LifeCare System
and Chair of the Board of Directors of CCLC. The
Home serves more than 5,200 older adults daily through
traditional long term care, subacute care, rehabilitation
services, community services and senior housing programs.
These
services are offered on the Home's three campuses in
Manhattan, the Bronx, and Westchester at the Sarah Neuman
Center for Healthcare and Rehabilitation, as well as
through our Lifecare Services Division, which provides
programs throughout the metropolitan area. Dr. Weiner
had previously served as Chief Operating Officer of
the system and Senior Vice President and Administrator
of Sarah Neuman, the Westchester Division of this system.
She has also served as the Director of Services to Older
Adults and Persons with AIDS at the Jewish Board of
Family and Childrens Services and as the Administrator
at the Hebrew Home for the Aged at Riverdale.
Dr.
Weiner is President of the Jewish Communal Services
Association, Vice President of the World Council of
Jewish Communal Services and Vice Chair of the Association
of Jewish Aging Services and co-chair of the Womens
Executive Circle of UJA-Federation of New York. She
received her doctorate in Social Welfare Administration
from the Graduate Center of the City University of New
York and her Master of Public Health from Yale University.
She is the editor of the Journal of Social Work in Long-Term
